Melania Trump Threatens $1 Billion Lawsuit Over Hunter Biden Epstein Claims
First Lady Melania Trump is taking legal action against Hunter Biden following his recent interviews alleging that disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump.
In an August 5 interview with Channel 5’s Andrew Callaghan, Biden stated,
“Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The connections are, like, so wide and deep.”
He attributed the claims to journalist Michael Wolff, whose past biography of Donald Trump has faced criticism.
Melania’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, sent a formal letter to Biden and his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, describing the statements as “false, defamatory, disparaging and inflammatory” and demanding a retraction. The letter warns:
“Failure to comply will leave Mrs. Trump with no choice but to pursue any and all legal rights… to recover the overwhelming financial and reputational harm that you have caused her to suffer.”
The letter also requests a public apology and threatens a $1 billion (£736 million) lawsuit.
The controversy follows the removal of a Daily Beast article citing Wolff’s claims, with the outlet apologizing to the First Lady for any “confusion or misunderstanding.”
