Much pain and sadness, the dear pi died in a very serious accident!

A deadly head-on crash on Saturday the 7th along SC-390 in Ipira (Midwest Santa Catarina) left a 31-year-old motorcyclist dead and shocked the community. He was riding a BMW S1000 RR, a high-performance bike known for rapid acceleration; witnesses said they heard the engine’s roar moments before impact.

According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the rider crossed into the oncoming lane in a curve and struck a Renault Sandero driven by a 30-year-old woman. Both vehicles were badly damaged, the motorcycle most of all.

Firefighters arrived within minutes, stabilized the rider, and rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he died shortly after arrival. The Sandero driver tested negative on a breathalyzer; she told police relatives removed her car from the scene before investigators arrived, complicating immediate evidence collection.

The BMW—worth an estimated R$70,000 to R$150,000 depending on condition—was left unrecognizable and was taken to the police impound. The crash is a stark reminder of the unforgiving risks of high speed on curving roads.
